Long term test report on the Honda z50 "works racer"

Our Race test consultant Brian J. takes the z50 through it's paces, as reported by Brian he loved the incredible front binders. Front suspension was a tad on the soft side, but could still handle the brutal sick air impacts.

Our testing was done at the secret Moto Dude test track, a similar layout as the infamous "Langtown" track. The track consisted of some high speed corners followed by a sick jump that Seth Enslow would love.
Joining us during the test was Brian J's brother Robby, and he also noticed the soft suspension. But with a little help from stiffer springs , problem solved. But aside from suspension bottoming the incredible horsepower that such a small motorcycle pumps out was amazing. Both Brian and Rob had a hard time controlling the sheer arm pulling power from the z50, take notice from the pictures below. Every time they took this high speed berm, the bike almost shot out from underneath them....awesome power!

As our test came to a close (we had to give back the z50 to Honda) we realized that the bike of choice for light weight, sheer horsepower and quick handling was simple.....HONDA Z50. No other motorcycle in our stable of bikes would we rather ride than the z50, out in the desert to the track this was the bike of choice. Sure the layout is a bit cramped but for tight cornering it was a blast, and just point this thing at any hill. The horsepower that this thing pumps out will amaze you, we even had a yz250 along for the test for a quick comparison...what comparison? The Yamaha could barely keep the 50 in sight...until we got out of 3rd gear that is.

After the Z50 test fellow Moto Dude "Deven" went out and purchased a Z50 for himself. Check out the front end has he exits his backyard moto track berm, shear arm pulling horsepower!
